Greedy Miners
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
You play as a shapeshifting cave trying to defend itself from little greedy miners that want nothing but to get their hands on your crystal.
They are small, they are fast and they are clever. They will avoid your defenses and raid your resources, while doing a very annoying little dance. For how long can you survive this madness?
Use the arrow keys to change the cave's shape and activate traps.

The game is quite easy if you press all arrow keys at the same time when the miners get near the crystal
Really enjoying the game, but not a fan of the blurriness. If it didn't have the blurriness I'd enjoy this much more.
This reminds me of the old Lemmings game I used to play on Amiga (and was available elsewhere), but in reverse. I like the concept, though the controls and events don't seem quite where they need to be just yet. I enjoyed it and look forward to seeing it on Android (it is clearly designed to be a mobile game), where it'll make a really excellent way to pass the time. I hope the graphics get an upgrade for higher resolution displays (both my computer, and phone are 1080p, but this didn't even look 720p, maybe 320p). The style is great, would like to see it more clearly.
It could also be fun to have, in addition to maybe some event timers (think cooloff period), for each of the events (put a timer in each corner with an icon representing the event that direction causes), perhaps multiple crystals you need to protect in the more challenging levels. I could see trying to manage a cave with 4 or 5 crystals in different locations, and trying to keep the miners away from all of them could make for some really fast-paced gameplay if each event had its own short timer/cooloff period.
I'm getting this error: http://pastebin.com/wWk9jBbx
Hello Clayon, thanks for reporting the error.
Am I correct to assume you're running the Windows 32 bits version of Greedy Miners? Or maybe you're just using itch's desktop app? If that's the case, please try downloading the game manually according to your operating system (either windows 32 or 64 bits) and executing the .exe file.
I must say, this game surprised me. It turned out to be a lot better than I expected :D It's one of those games that's easy to learn but hard to master
